This buck loved to pose. He is standing so still showing you his unigue horn. Some call this a shovel or non typical . They may have many other names for it.  If you know please let us know.

Ladies here are the lupins. They were standing tall on the side of the road. I could not resist their beauty.

A mom and baby loon were having a great time in the afternoon sun. Bill and I were in a canoe and spent some time with them. The baby rode on the mothers back when he was tired.

After swimming for awhile the mother loon spread her wings. This is done sometime to dry their wings.

This moose was very busy eating. I caught him with his tongue out and drooling.

This great Bull moose was busy eating. I stayed with him all afternoon.

This is a great picture because I have all three moose Bull, cow and calf. Everyone is busy eating after a long winter. Mom's luring out their young after about a month in the woods. This young moose is probably a little over a month old.
